Battery Life Improvement Using New Polymer Material
It’s common knowledge that eventually the batteries in our cellphones, cameras and laptops weaken and the time between charging them shortens. An assistant professor of polymer science at the University of Akron is overseeing a project that will change that. Dr. Yu Zhu’s team is developing advanced materials such as a new polymer binding material that will improve both the number of times a battery can be recharged as well as the length of time it can go before needing recharged.
To learn more about Dr. Zhu’s project, read the article released by the University of Akron.
