The opiod crisis in the United States has been nothing short of an epidemic, causing many researchers to turn their attention to solutions to help ease its impact. Stark County, Ohio, commissioner Richard Regula is dedicated to expanding the petrochemical industry in Ohio and using shale gas to rebuild the state’s manufacturing base. Over the past six years, more than 2,400 gas wells have been drilled using hydraulic fracturing.
